Tweaks to CAPTCHA system

After releasing the new anti-spam feature, a few community members provided valuable feedback: things like the NoScript add-on blocking the JavaScript that drives reCAPTCHA and legibility were an issue for some users. I have made subsequent tweaks to alleviate these issues:

1. If you are blocking the JavaScript, there appears instructions about how to whitelist recaptcha.net.

2. If you get an illegible CAPTCHA, there is an easier-to-find link to get a new captcha from reCAPTCHA (there was always a refresh button, but it is somewhat subtle and often goes unnoticed).

3. When sending messages to a mutual friend, you will never see a CAPTCHA. If someone really wants to friend a spammer, and they abuse that friendship, it becomes a self-correcting problem: un-friend them. Or better yet, report them as a spammer so we can whack them, THEN un-friend them! :)

Please feel free to contact us if you have further concerns, questions, or suggestions.

cheers,
eric
